Band 4 (Salary $72,197 - $76,902 inc. RDO) + Super & Allowance

Pyrenees Shire Council is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Grader Operator/Team Leader to join the Works team based in Avoca.

Working closely with the Avoca Works Officer, this role combines motor grader operations with team leadership to deliver road maintenance, construction and asset management activities across the municipality.

Reporting to the Works Officer Avoca, the Grader Operator/Team Leader will:

• Operate a motor grader and associated plant for road maintenance and construction works
• Lead and support work crews to deliver road and infrastructure projects
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to required standards

   

  About You

  To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Experience operating motor graders and civil construction plant
  • Knowledge of road maintenance and construction practices
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to workplace safety
  • Relevant licences and certifications

A Certificate III in Civil Construction (or equivalent) and experience in local government or civil infrastructure maintenance will be highly regarded.
