This project involved the replacement of the bowling green at the Waubra Bowling Club with a synthetic green.

The old green required about 20 hours of maintenance a week, and with the retirement of the club's greenskeeper it was too difficult for the club to maintain, which meant the green had fallen into disrepair. The synthetic green means that club can continue without the demanding requirements of having to maintain a traditional green. 

This $300,000 project is funded through the Federal Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.
