Racecourse Road Rehabilitation Project, Beaufort
Works are continuing on the Racecourse Road Construction Project which aims to improve the road's condition and widen the road along a 1,255-metre stretch northeast from Tip Road.
There will be minor traffic disruptions, including traffic control signs and reduced speed limits.
The project is fully funded by the Commonwealth Government's Roads to Recovery Program with support from the Commonwealth Government in partnership with RMIT to complete a trial using a stabilise additive called ‘fly ash’ for a section of the road construction.
Works are expected to be completed in May 2026.
