RECREATION DEVELOPMENT CO-ORDINATOR
PERMANENT FULL TIME (BAND 6 - $91,978 - $99,576 + SUPER & RDO)
Council has a vacancy in its Community Wellbeing and Development department for a Recreation Development Co-Ordinator. This permanent full-time position will report directly to the Team Leader, Community Development and will be based at the Beaufort office.
The Recreation Development Co-ordinator will develop and implement inclusive recreation planning, facility management, events and leisure programming that increases community participation in sport and leisure, improving social connections and the overall health and wellbeing of our community.
The position will also undertake key sport and recreation tasks including, assisting in the delivery of infrastructure projects, identification and implementation of governance structures and development of funding proposals to build sustainable, safe and accessible community facilities for sport, recreation and leisure activities.
The salary classification for the position will be in accordance with the Victorian Local Authorities Award, 2001 and Pyrenees Shire Council’s 2023 Enterprise Bargaining Agreement and will be Band 6.
