Council received funding for 2 electric vehicle charging stations.

With one each in Beaufort and Avoca the recharging stations encourage and prolong visitation and therefore expenditure in towns, support residents to transition to a more sustainable transport option, and demonstrate progressiveness to the community.

Update 16 June 2023 - Installation completed

The two EV charging stations have now been installed at the Willoby Street carpark in Beaufort. These have been commissioned and ready for use and will take four vehicles. One has been installed by Council, the other by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA).
