The traditional owners of the Snake Valley area are the Wadawurrung People.

Reconstruction of the road pavement and drainage works on Linton- Carngham Road (RTR) - Laurence Drive (North entry) to 145m South of Woodend Tower Road (Shire boundary).

This project is required due to the condition of the pavement and wearing surface. The project entails reconstructing the road pavement and application of a new sealed surface. There will also be upgrades to the existing drainage.

The project will result in a safer road for all users.

UPDATE 7/5/24 - The upgrade to the existing drainage has been amalgamated back into this project and the whole project has now been deferred to the 24/25 Financial Year.
