Review of Council's Road Management Plan
Council has undertaken a review of the Road Management Plan and has updated the plan to the Municipal Association of Victoria’s template for consistency and to ensure all important content aligns with current best practice and legal advice. The updated Road Management Plan enables Council to adopt a clear and measurable set of standards so that compliance can be clearly monitored and ensures Council remain able to uphold standards with the current resources at its disposal.

Pursuant to Section 54 of the Road Management Act 2004, any person has a right to make a written submission on any matter contained in the draft Road Management Plan. Submissions must be received by Council before 5pm on Friday 15 August 2025. Submissions can be made via the link below, by scanning the QR code on this page or by post.

Postal submissions are to be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Pyrenees Shire, 5 Lawrence Street Beaufort 3373.
Any person who had made a submission is entitled to request to appear in support of their submission at the Council meeting on 15 September 2025.
