Planning your event

If you are planning an event in Pyrenees Shire, our Events Officer is here to help. With the aim of encouraging and promoting local events and festivals.  The Events Officer helps guide event organisers through the registration and compliance process to ensure you have all the right permits and permissions required.

Council encourages groups and committees to contact the Events Officer before planning starts so they can obtain important information and gain a better understanding of what is needed to run a successful event.

We recommend that you complete the Event Application Form(PDF, 498KB)  before making contact as this is the starting point for all event registrations and listings on the Shire's websites.
