Pyrenees Shire residents are invited to share their views on Council’s performance with the annual Community Satisfaction Survey.

Market research agency National Field Services will conduct the telephone survey.

“Providing answers to the questions from National Field Services will help Council to improve service delivery to residents,” Pyrenees Shire Council Mayor Cr Robert Vance said.

Cr Vance urged residents to take part, saying that participation in the survey is a great way to give back to the community.

“We understand that people are busy and don’t always want to answer questions from survey companies, but if people can make the time to respond then this information really helps us do a better job,” Cr Vance said.

The survey questions have been designed to assess the performance of Council across a range of measures to identify ways to provide improvement or more effective service delivery to residents.

National Field Services will be calling up a representative number of residents during February and March to speak to them. These calls may happen out of business hours and over weekends.

Residents’ details and individual responses are confidential. Only the overall results are shared with Pyrenees Shire Council.

The results of the survey will be published by Council in the middle of the year.
