The public toilets in Havelock Street Beaufort are being refurbished. The work is expected to take 6-8 weeks and the facility is scheduled to reopen at the end of July.
The toilet block will be completely refitted, re-tiled, repainted and the layout updated to improve functionality, accessibility and hygiene.
The new facility in Beggs Street is the best alternative while construction is taking place. Portable toilets have also been placed on the opposite side of Neill Street, and the toilet block in Wotherspoon Park behind the IGA car park remains open.
